Background

CUPRA successfully hosted the second edition of the CUPRA Next Gen Cup, an exceptional in-real-life football tournament that challenges the norms of traditional football and embodies the spirit of the upcoming generation.

The tournament was livestreamed by the renowned internet celebrity and esports caster, Ibai Llanos. It brought together emerging talents from FC Barcelona and prominent Twitch streamers, including DJMario, alongside football-centric social platforms like 433 and SOCCERBIBLE.  

One team was captained by CUPRA and FC Barcelona and the other was led by well-known online streamer and presenter Ibai Llanos.

Content Strategy

I held the responsibility of formulating the social media strategy and crafting a seamless content plan. This involved orchestrating collaborations with various parties, including the FC Barcelona account and Ibai Llanos account.

I developed the social media strategy and content plan across multiple platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch, utilizing a diverse range of formats including reels, stories, posts, and reposts. The the objective was to find the perfect balance between entertainment, engaging content, and informative posts, all while incorporating effective CTAs to get people to the stadium.
